Good morning Susan. Last weekend I solved my communication problem, discovering that there were 2 settings to do that I didn't read in the datasheet and that you didn't recommend:

The first approach is this:
RC6PPS = 0x10;

The second setting is the setting of the communication pines as entrances.
I was wrong because I set the TX as output, RX as input exactly as I did with the PIC16F690. The rest of the program is always the same.

Good morning. I realized that the PIC16F18877 does not transmit, but only receives. I don't understand what's wrong with the settings I've written in previous posts. Can someone please help me?

Try asking this on the main Microchip forum, giving a full listing of the code you have now.
There are many more people with a lot of experience there.
