I also tested Chrome in Windows, no dice. No edit box to be seen.
However, when I use my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4Mini) through Chrome I could make a reply to a post in the latest thread I have participated in.
So something screwy is going on here.

Yes, it was by clicking "menu" then changing the forum theme from "elegant" to "mobile".
The next link down is "My public profile", so you may have clicked just a little to low.

That is probably going straight to the "mobile", theme.

Yes, I think I can confirm that it is working in mobile theme (even on a PC ;-)

Pity there doesn't seem to be any way to get to the user control panel in the mobile theme.
Can't change my signature in the normal theme.

Hello, I just joined after finding problems posting on the official Microchip forum, and it seems at least a few of those forum members are also here. It's good to have a backup, and maybe it would be wise to copy some of the more important threads from there to here or someplace secure, in case they lose everything or decide to discontinue their forum.

Anyway, I was able to post using the "mobile" option, and hopefully the problem will be fixed soon. But it seems to have been going on for a long time, and their support person seems to believe nothing is wrong.

I wonder what might happen if "Problem posting to any forum" became the highest rated thread?
It would always show up on the home page ?
I do note CindyNY now finally says she is working on it, maybe she believes us.

We cant copy third party content from the Microchip forum here as that would land Ric in a whole lot of legal grief. However there is nothing to stop you reposting content that you have personally contributed here.
