It would appear that they have re-installed the forum software, but used a "Trial" version, which forces the product name into the page title.

However, one big change is, quoting posts with smilies and/or live links is no longer triggering the firewall!

Anything containing "char(" stil triggers the firewall, but it's a different message now:

(You only see this if you use the "Full Editor" to create the post. "Quick Reply" just does nothing.)

It's not happy again today.
"Go to last post" icons are missing.
Posts you have read are not removed from the "Unread posts" list.
"Quick Reply" doesn't work, you have to click through to the Full Editor to be able to post.

Do we need to chip in and buy a license for them?

The disease is spreading: I can't even get to data sheets now; "Documentation is currently not available".

I've not been able to get data sheets for many devices for about a week. Some devices are OK and others are not.
As for helping them buy a license, can we buy one for this forum's software? Force them away from that P.O.S. that they use.

phpBB is free! ;)
(and I'm a little biased towards it as I was on their technical support team for a couple of years. https://www.phpbb.com/community/memberl ... e&u=298054 )
