Hello all!

Say "hi" here, and any general non PIC related chat.

Hello all!

Well, since the official microchip forum sucks big time I decided to give the unofficial one a try!
I'm from Italy, I'm a professional hobbist that tries to get better at programming embedded devices without the background of a formal training. I try to sink my teeth at what I find interesting from time to time, making stupid questions along the way hoping to get smarter. Professionally i work in the movie industry (advertising actually) in the camera dept.

lately it's hard to post ANYTHING! :D
To be honest I think that the MCHP forum needed the restyle and hopefully it'll get better.
The community, in this days, is everything. They need to understand that giving out good, open and free tools (including code that is free to use commercially and a working forum for users) and encouraging the community to share their efforts will build the foundation for the long term relationship with new users they lost to the arduino community, something that every other manufacturer understood and did.
Anyway thank you for your welcome, sorry for the rambling!
