Followed a link in someone's post at the official forums, and decided to check it out. Been lurking here for a few days.
Same username both forums.
You might be glad to note that the very first thread I read here is "people still trying to use old chips?". Because of that, I've been looking into some of the newer 8-bit chips to start with, and am seriously considering a few of the 16-bit chips for a few of my projects, while I learn coding.
Ultimately, I'll need dsPIC and 32-bit for what I have in mind.
Thanks for being here and there, and being willing to teach an old dog new tricks!
