My Real-Ice doesn't work anymore

Postby alessandrobertini » Thu Apr 09, 2015 11:46 am

Hi to everybody,
I have a problem with my Real-Ice. I use it with MPLAB-X 2.30 (but I have installed the 2.35 version and the problem is the same) and now, without a particular reason, it doesn't work anymore.
The problem started using the explorer16 and I'm sure that the board is ok because I can work with it using ICD3 emulator.
This is what MPLAB-X shows :

"
*****************************************************
Connecting to MPLAB REAL ICE...

Currently loaded firmware on REAL ICE
Firmware Suite Version.....01.35.16 *
Firmware type..............dsPIC33F/24F/24H

Target voltage detected
Target Device ID (0x0) does not match expected Device ID (0x101e0000).[/b][/b]
"

The device in question is a PIC24F256GA110 and it's OK because using ICD3 evrything is ok.

I tried with other boards and other microcontrollers but the problem persists.

Anyone can help me?
Thanks

Are you using the same cable (the short gray one) with the REAL ICE and the ICD 3 to connect to the Explorer 16?
