Don't start with the MCU - start with the thermal printer and how you need to communicate with it.
Get the data sheet and see what you need to send to the printer to have it place a dot at a specific location.
Then you can work out if the printer has limitations such as if you need to send all of the 'X' points (assuming this is across the page) before you move to the next 'Y' location etc..
Once you know this then you can work out how to convert whatever information you have that describes the graph into the appropriate format to send to the printer.

How could anyone here possibly know the answer to that when you haven't shared the model number of the printer?

In the link you provide for the printer is the comment " Programming Guide included in CD or downloadable from Manufacture website."
That could be the starting point for you.

Hmm, I had never heard of using a thermal printer before. By the way, I wonder how much printers should be. Most printers cost a lot of money and the sad thing is that despite the high price, they work very little and often break. Even if you buy a printer for 500 bucks, then it may break after a few weeks of use, and I myself came across this. So the price in this case is not the main thing. The most difficult thing is to find reliable and durable models. For example, for the last time I bought a printer from an online store mrdepot.ca and it was very cheap and worked very quickly, and besides, there are a huge number of different functions ....
