Unable to program PIC16F1614

Postby Rakesh » Wed Jul 15, 2015 12:38 pm

Hello,

I'm facing a certain problem with the PIC16F1614 controller I'm currently using. I'm unable to program it from MPLAB X v3.05, I tried programming it using the PICkit 3 application, it says 'No Device Found' and in MBLABX it does detect the controller and always ends up saying 'Connection Failed'. I have a fair share of experience with PIC microcontrollers, I'm able to program PIC32 & PIC18 controllers in MPLABX using the same PICkit 3.

So, is there anything else extra that needs to be done to program PIC16 controllers. :?:

Regards,
Rakesh

Please describe your hardware.
Is the PIC16F1614 on a MC development board, or your own board?
Latest test project, an LED matrix display made from one reel of addressable LEDs. here
