Recommendations For Small Batch Board Fabrication

Postby ChollyMo » Mon Nov 13, 2017 3:45 am

A friend told me there are services, in China, or elsewhere, where we can send gerber files and get small batch or even single boards made on the cheap. Any recommendations or experiences ? I take it everyone uses Eagle for drafting ? Thanks.

I used http://www.pcbway.com - they had a good quality. They charge $5 for 10 10x10cm HASL boards + shipping (about $15 to Canada). If you want anything else, it's more expensive.

For very small volumes (e.g. up to 3) and small sizes, it is impossible to beat OshPark, not by price nor by quality - http://oshpark.org

I have used http://pcbcart.com for many years, and they are excellent. They now offer lower quality boards for prototypes, without tooling charges, and cost is very reasonable. I also use http://www.eiconnect.com, also known as http://zoompcb.com, and you can get double sided boards up to 5" x 5" for about $15 each for 7 day turn. Their regular prices for larger boards and larger quantities are also reasonable, and at least they are USA based. Here is an image of a board I had made by them recently:
