Guess it is not original, because it seems at the price I can get a clone from china.
Anyway, a clone should work as good as an original one.

Looks like a clone. It's about $15 US, about 1/3 of the price I'm seeing from Digikey/Mouser.
Might still work, but can never make a guarantee.

Almost certainly a clone.
Warranty : None

The 6 pin header protrudes out a few millimetres more than my genuine PK3.
The red silk screen background is missing in the Microchip logo.
The "POWER", "ACTIVE", & "STATUS" labels are all bolder text than the original.
Latest test project, an LED matrix display made from one reel of addressable LEDs. here
