16F1829 IR Train controller

Postby grandpa jay » Thu Jan 28, 2016 12:37 am

Gentlemen
This is the program that JorgeF and I have been working on transferred to the 16F1829 chip. It works. It is built up on the low pin count board that came with the PICKit 3. The PWM for this chip does not work in debug just like in the 12F1572.
Now I need to figure out how to have this work with a train coming in either direction. I have tried IRR1||IRR2 and that had some weird problems. I also do not know how to isolate two IRR connected to the same pin.

This is the latest file and it works by counting cars is either direction. Thanks to JorgeF. If this post works it may be because I cleared my cookies files. Still not working.

If this works it's because I logged out and back in. Did not help. Lost count of days.

Do you mean here, or on the Microchip forum.
They've certainly been having lots of Access Error problems over there.

I am aware that there were some problems with the database server used by another of my forums on this same web server, so you may have seen a "connect connect to database" message about 24 hours ago.
That problem was only around for about an hour.

Yes the microchip forum. I see others posting on the same forum as I, but I can not get in.

Has your PC been on since yesterday?
A lot of the problems over there seem to be caused by malfunctioning javascript.
Sometimes shutting down all instances of your browser, or even rebooting, is required to fix the problem.
Jumping between IE, FireFox, and Chrome, also sometimes gets you going.
