I'm using the ICD3 and the MPLABX version 2.26
I'm disabled so I designed a circuit card that I to operate a trolling motor via two joysticks. I am able to run the bench setup and shift up and down through the prop speeds but the debugger will halt for reasons I'm not able to say. I thought it might be some noise triggering the debugger so I tried it in run mode. When doing this I get the following programming error:
BUILD SUCCESSFUL (total time: 2s)
Loading code from C:/microchip_solutions_v2013-06-15/MyProjects/Quayak1.X/dist/default/production/Quayak1.X.production.hex...
Loading completed

Programming target...
The programmer could not be started: null
I ran it in the debugger and while shifting the target halted again. I reset the debugger, tried it in the run mode and got a different programmer error:
BUILD SUCCESSFUL (total time: 2s)
Loading code from C:/microchip_solutions_v2013-06-15/MyProjects/Quayak1.X/dist/default/production/Quayak1.X.production.hex...
Loading completed

Programming target...
The programmer could not be started: Failed to program the target device
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rob
